Been there in October 2022. Cozy, clean restaurant offering traditional dishes from Veneto. Well prepared dishes with high quality ingredients. Good position: not too far from the historical down town Verona, but enough to avoid the crowded central places. Friendly personnel, average prices.
Good food and nice atmosphere. There are a lot of Italians eating in this place. The portions are not so big and we where a bit disappointed with the horse steak because it didn’t came with any side plate.
Excellent traditional osteria with a great menu, many seasonal off menu options and an outstanding regional wine list. You cannot go wrong here.
That's a local trattoria with decent food and the warm and quiet atmosphere.
The food is good enough but nothing special (still it's worth the money I've paid).
The staff was nice and friendly.
Nice restaurant with horse meat based products, but not only
Arrived fairly late in Verona and stumbled across Pero D'Oro as it was close to our accommodation. It was great..what a find!
Traditional, well cooked food in a friendly trattoria. Not a vast menu but fully authentic Italian cuisine. Very reasonably priced too!
Really excellent local trattoria. We were seated in the cool open air courtyard, which was great. I can imagine the indoor restaurant is fantastic in the cooler months - it does give of the feel of an early 19th century place. The mixed cheese and meats antipasto included some excellently chosen and presented items. I am now a convert to Veronese Sorpresa salami. My wife's veal main course was superb and my raw beef and burrata secondi was great. We drank house wines by glass and carafe - they were both good and very reasonably priced. To cap it all our English-speaking waitress was lovely and the epitome of hospitality. You should know: we nearly didn't go in because the exterior looked a bit scruffy - that turned out to be quite unimportant
The food was good. However, the owner was very rude to us when we ordered (as he felt we hadn't ordered enough, this was definitely inferred by his attitude and sly comments). The other members of staff were ok, however when paying the lady was extremely rude, she had no sense of service at all.
This was a shame as the food was good and we complimented the food. I will not return to this place as I left feeling satisfied by the food, but also with a negative feeling due to the rudeness and attitude of the staff. Not what you look for in an evening when going for dinner.
